Ports and Related Services
Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH), the port and related services group, has interests in a total of 300 berths in 49 ports, spanning 25 countries. HPH operates in six of the nine busiest container ports in the world.

Its headquarters are at Hongkong International Terminals, the world's largest and busiest privately-owned container terminal operator.

HPH handled a total throughput of 67.6 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in 2008. In the United Kingdom, it owns the Port of Felixstowe (the country's largest), Harwich International Port and Thamesport. HPH also has a substantial interest in ports in Argentina, Australia, the Bahamas, Belgium, Egypt, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, the Netherlands, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Tanzania, Thailand and Vietnam. Property and Hotels
From landmark office buildings on Hong Kong's skyline to luxury residential properties in the United Kingdom, Hutchison Whampoa Properties Limited develops and invests in leading real estate projects.

The Group pioneered the concept of "garden city" large-scale private housing estates in pleasant settings in Hong Kong which, thanks to their success, are extended to China. These include South Horizons and Whampoa Garden.

Landmark buildings in the Group's portfolio include the 62-storey Cheung Kong Center in the Central district of Hong Kong, the Oriental Plaza in Beijing, and The Center in Shanghai. Prestigious residential properties in the United Kingdom include Royal Gate Kensington, Belgravia Place and Albion Riverside. A S Watson & Co., Limited (ASW), the Group's retail arm, operates over 8,300 retail stores in 31 countries worldwide. In Europe, ASW's retail network comprises nine health and beauty chains: DC, Drogas, Kruidvat, Rossmann, Savers, Superdrug, Trekpleister, Spektr and Watsons Your Personal Store, as well as three luxury perfumeries and cosmetics retail brands: Marionnaud, ICI PARIS XL and The Perfume Shop. A S Watson is the world's largest health and beauty retailer.

Energy, Infrastructure, Investments and Others
Cheung Kong Infrastructure (CKI), the Group's infrastructure arm, is a diversified infrastructure company with businesses in transportation, energy, infrastructure materials, water plants and related operations. CKI's businesses span Hong Kong, Mainland China, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and the United States.

The Group has an interest in Hongkong Electric Holdings (HEH), the sole electricity supplier to Hong Kong Island and Lamma Island. Hutchison is also a major shareholder of Husky Energy, one of Canada's largest energy and energy related companies.

Investments and Others division mainly represents Hutchison Whampoa (China), listed subsidiaries Hutchison China MediTech Limited and Hutchison Harbour Ring and listed associate company TOM Group.

Hutchison Whampoa (China) Limited, the investment arm of HWL in Mainland China, is actively engaged in a number of ventures and other activities. These investments include the manufacture and distribution of healthcare, personal care and traditional Chinese medicine products, the provision of aircraft maintenance, engineering and cabin cleaning services, the provision of logistics services, the operation of a rice farm and rice trading, hotel ownership as well as the manufacture of optical transmission equipment.

Hutchison China MediTech Limited (Chi-Med), is a subsidiary of HWL. Chi-Med, the holding company of a pharmaceutical and healthcare group based primarily in Mainland China, is listed on the Alternative Investment Market of The London Stock Exchange Plc (stock code: HCM). Chi-Med focuses on researching, developing, manufacturing and selling pharmaceuticals, health supplements and other consumer health and personal care products derived from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and botanical ingredients. The overall aim of Chi-Med is to draw on the untapped wealth of knowledge and history of usage in the TCM industry to develop pharmaceutical and consumer products for the global market.

Hutchison Harbour Ring Limited (HHR) is principally engaged in the provision of integrated solutions of design and distribution of mobile phone accessories and other high-end electronic products, property investments and licensing and sourcing of consumer products. HHR has been listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong since 1991 (Stock Code: 715).

TOM Group Limited (stock code: 2383) is listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong . HWL is one of the leading owners and operators of telecommunications, offering a wide range of related services in 14 countries. Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong Holdings Limited (HTHKH) was listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange in May 2009. HTHKH operates GSM dual-band and 3G mobile telecommunications services in Hong Kong and Macau under the licensed "3" brand and provides fixed-line telecommunications services in Hong Kong under the licensed "Hutchison Global Communications" (HGC) brand. As at 31 December 2008, "3" is Hong Kong's 3G market leader in terms of customer base. HGC is a Hong Kong based fixed-line connectivity provider focusing on the data communication needs of business and multinational customers, as well as the traffic demand of carriers from around the world.
