Hong Kong
HWPG is
responsible for the development of some of Hong Kong's largest
and most sophisticated private housing estates, based on the
"garden city" design concept.
Hunghom Bay Centre
Situated next to Whampoa Garden, Hunghom Bay Centre comprises
814 flats, all of which were sold during development.
The development is located in the western portion of the
Kowloon Dockyard site, near the main Kowloon-Canton Railway
terminus.
The commercial podium comprises net area of 74,000 sq ft
of office and shop spaces together with basement carparks.

Aberdeen Centre
Aberdeen
Centre, comprising 2,788 flats ranging from 526 sq ft to 915
sq ft, occupies the site of HWD's old Aberdeen dockyard, which
was closed in the 1960s.
Aberdeen Centre Shopping Complex is one of the largest shopping
centre in the Southern District. It offers a variety of fashion,
accessories, dining and indoor entertainment outlet, among
which include popular shops such as Tom Lee, Jumpin Gym USA,
TOYSRUS, Hsin Kuang Restaurant, Wang Jia Sha, Genki Sushi,
PARKnSHOP supermarket and Fortress.
The community's focal point is a landscaped garden of traditional
Chinese design around a central, decorative pool.

Provident Centre
Looming
over the Island Eastern Corridor, Provident Centre's apartments
command magnificent views of the Victoria Harbour.
The complex consists of 1,450 flats of 800 sq ft to 1,540
sq ft and 17 penthouse flats. Residents have the use of two
private gardens incorporating landscaped features and swimming
pools.
Home World Provident Centre is designed with "home"
themed concept. This three-level shopping centre with total
retail area of about 180,000 sq ft offers a wide selection
of household products, fashion, electrical appliances, restaurant,
JUSCO $10 Plaza Plus, Jumpin Gym USA and PARKnSHOP supermarket.

Whampoa Garden
Whampoa
Garden was the first of HWPG's ambitious "garden city"
developments, with 88 residential towers and 10,431 flats,
ranging from 351 sq ft to 1,110 sq ft, built on the site of
the old Hung Hom docks.
The "garden city" concept offers an attractive
and affordable alternative to dense urban living, providing
residents with more graceful surroundings and a full range
of facilities on their doorstep.
The development houses over 40,000 people and, to non-residents,
is perhaps best known for its central shopping and recreational
complex, The Whampoa, built in the shape of a ship and 'berthed'
in the original No 1 Dry Dock.
The complex also includes shopping arcades Wonderful Worlds
of Whampoa, public transport terminus, school sites and recreational
facilities including basketball, badminton, volleyball courts
and children playgrounds. A comprehensive sports and recreation
club provides facilities like tennis courts, indoor swimming
pool, squash courts and gymnasium for members.

Laguna City
Developed
jointly by Cheung
Kong and HWPG, Laguna City overlooks Victoria Harbour
from a site of almost a million square feet in Kowloon East.
The extensive recreational facilities include two landscaped
swimming pools, basketball, volleyball, squash and tennis
courts and a roller skating rink.

Vista Paradiso
Located
in Ma On Shan, Shatin, Vista Paradiso comprises 11 high rise
towers overlooking Tolo Harbour.
The development offers 2,032 units, unit size ranges from
601 sq ft. to 1,310 sq ft.

South Horizons
Ap
Lei Chau, a small island off Aberdeen, provides a magnificent
setting for South Horizons, another "garden city"
development of 34 residential towers, a residents club, landscaped
gardens and two commercial complexes housing shops, restaurants
and a wet market.
The spectacular development occupies a 1.67 million sq ft
site at the western end of the island - once home to a Hongkong
Electric power station and an adjoining oil depot.
The residential towers, each with a spacious, marble-clad
entrance lobby, house flats of 632 sq ft to 1,100 sq ft and
some penthouse units. Within South Horizons, HWPG has created
The Oasis, a unique seven-tower development which provides
buyers with attractively designed and furnished two-, three-
and four-bedroom units ranging in size from 645 sq ft to 950
sq ft plus top-notch clubhouse facilities.

Belvedere Garden
Close to Tsuen Wan town centre and was designed to be
a self-contained communal estate. It was developed in three
phases comprising 19 residential towers and 6,016 flats.
Shopping centres have a total of 273,323 sq ft, including
a wet and dry market, medical centre, restaurants, supermarket
and other necessity shops.

Tierra
Verde
The phased development of the 2.68 million sq ft residential
complex, above the Mass Transit Railway Station at Tsing Yi
is on schedule. The first phase comprising five towers
with approximately 1.15 million sq ft of residential space.
The second phase comprising seven towers with 1.53 million
sq ft of residential space.

The Paramount
The Paramount, a 132,000 sq ft residential project in
Tai Po, in which the Group has 35 per cent interest.
Laguna Verde
Located
along Whampoa Waterfront, Laguna Verde offers panoramic seaview
of Victoria Harbour. It comprises 25 luxurious residential
towers with a total of 4,735 units, unit size ranges from
500 sq ft to 3,000 sq ft approximately.

Rambler Crest, Tsing Yi
Located
at No. 1 Tsing Yi Road, Rambler Crest offers a total of 1,585
units in its five 40-storey blocks having a total of one million
sq. ft approximately. Rambler Crest is also equipped with
a 200-metre outdoor swimming pool, indoor clubhouse and landscaped
podium gardens.
