They offer a range of more than 25,000 different products from more than 20 countries, including cosmetics, personal care products, medicine and health supplements, fashion accessories, confectionery, gifts and toys. Extremely successful in this vast range are Watsons' own-label products, symbolic of the pervading consumer trust in the Watsons name.

A sustained marketing programme supports the range with international standards of television and print advertisements, brand promotions and games, which in turn complement promotions launched by the manufacturers.

In Hong Kong, Watsons operates 160 stores, of which more than 40 stores have licensed pharmaceutical counters, making it the leading pharmacy chain in town. In Taiwan, the group has a major chain of over 235 personal care stores. There are 61 and 66 stores in Singapore and Malaysia respectively and the numbers are expected to increase steadily by about 15 per year, while the number of stores in Thailand has grown to 70. In the Mainland, Watsons operates 46 outlets and become the largest chain of foreign-owned stores in the Mainland. In the Philippines, Watsons operates 77 outlets.

Watsons Your Personal Store is expanding at the rate of 70 new stores a year, and this dramatic growth rate is set to continue. The Watsons Your Personal Store concept continues to prove its ability to eliminate cultural and geographic boundaries.

Watsons' health advisory team comprises of 100 pharmacists and 150 health and fitness advisors professionally trained to deliver free consultation and recommendation in a healthy lifestyle.
