In 2000, Hutchison Whampoa obtained its first 3G licence
in the UK. Subsequently, nine more licences were acquired:
Australia, Austria, Denmark, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Macau,
Norway and Sweden. With its strong global network, Hutchison
opens a new world of mobile multimedia.
