3 HK joins hands with Metro Radio to offer the first and exclusive multimedia broadcasting service on video mobile phones in Hong Kong.

3 Australia announces to enter an agreement with Lucent Technologies and Novatel Wireless, Inc. to provide Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) wireless PC cards to 3 customers in Australia, Denmark, Italy and Sweden. The agreement is available to other 3 markets worldwide.
     
3 UK announces that Crown Castle International, one of the UK's leading network infrastructure management companies, has completed its 1001st site for 3 UK. 3 UK now has over 77 per cent population coverage for its video mobile services in the UK, as well as over 99 per cent voice coverage through its national roaming agreement.

H3G Italy S.p.A announces the appointment of LG Electronics of Korea as its preferred UMTS Videophone provider. Under the commercial agreement, LG Electronics is committed to supplying three million UMTS dual mode handsets, compatible with GSM standards (900 and 1800 Mhz.) and GPRS, to the 3 group of companies by the end of 2004.
     
   
The Group signs an agreement with NTT DoCoMo, Inc ("DoCoMo"). The two companies have agreed to, at HWL's discretion, exchange DoCoMo's 20 per cent investment in Hutchison 3G UK Holdings Limited ("H3GUK") for a stake in Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited ("HTIL"), a subsidiary of the Group. The total consideration of this transaction is Sterling Pound 120 million.
     
   
Hutchison Telecom consolidates 3G, GSM Dualband and CDMA mobile services under the "3" brand.

3 UK announces it has teamed up with the major record company BMG to launch the first ever mobile video jukebox enabling 3 customers to stream the latest music videos direct to their video mobiles.

The Group's subsidiary Hutchison 3G Australia ("H3GA"), a subsidiary of Hutchison Telecommunications (Australia) Ltd, announces that it has signed a new network sharing agreement with Telstra. Under the agreement, the H3GA radio access network will become the core asset of the joint enterprise. In return for the 50 per cent ownership of the asset, Telstra will pay Hutchison $450 million, under a fixed payment schedule, in four instalments, starting November 2004.
     
   
Hutchison 3G Australia, a subsidiary of Hutchison Telecommunications (Australia) Ltd, signs a network sharing agreement with Telstra.
     
   
3 UK announces the signing of a major sports sponsorship deal. From the start of the season, 3 will be the principal sponsor of Red Park City, one of the UK's most successful football teams.

3 UK announces that it was runner-up in Gartner's 2004 CRM Excellence Awards, Large Enterprise category, for the implementation of its Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

    3 UK announces it has signed a deal with Associated Press Television News to provide celebrity entertainment videos to the mobile audience in the UK.

3 HK launches seven 3G video mobile phones of three brands and introduces two fascinating new contents to illustrate the lifestyle of "Live 3". The NEC 338 is the lightest handset in the market. The Motorola A1000 is equipped with a full range of PDA functions. The LG 8130 is equipped with super-rich functions.

Hutchison 3G Italy Investments S.à r.l. enters into an agreement with CIRtel International S.A. ("Cirtel") to purchase from Cirtel entire shareholding in Hutchison 3G Italia S.p.A. ("H3G Italy"). The Group now has 89.32 per cent interests in H3G Italy.
