Lots Road, Chelsea London SW10
The site of Lots Road Power Station will be re-developed
into high-end residential apartments and commercial
units. The Master plan of the redevelopment scheme
has been created by the world-renowned architect
Sir Terry Farrell and is one of the last major
riverside schemes to be developed in this area.
The project is located on the north bank of
the River Thames, straddling Chelsea Creek on
the boundary between the Royal Borough of Kensington
& Chelsea and the Borough of Hammersmith &
Fulham.
Planning permission has been granted and construction
started at the end of 2007. The project will provide
approximately 1,260,000 sq ft of residential space
and about 90,000 sq ft of commercial space. It
is scheduled to be completed at the end of 2013.
