Chi-Med focuses on researching, developing, manufacturing and selling pharmaceuticals and health oriented consumer products. Chi-med's retail brand, Sen, has a presence in the UK, France, and Hong Kong.

Hutchison Water Limited is engaged in a water desalination project in Israel which was granted a 26.5 years concession by the Israeli government to build and operate a water desalination plant in Sorek, Israel. The plant is expected to be one of the largest in the world in terms of capacity.
