These investments include the manufacture and distribution of healthcare, personal care and traditional Chinese medicine products, the provision of aircraft maintenance, engineering and cabin cleaning services, the provision of logistics services, the operation of a rice farm and rice trading, hotel ownership as well as the manufacture of optical transmission equipment.

Hutchison China MediTech Limited (Chi-Med) is a subsidiary of HWL. Chi-Med, the holding company of a pharmaceutical and healthcare group based primarily in Mainland China, is listed on the Alternative Investment Market of The London Stock Exchange Plc (Stock Code: HCM). Chi-Med focuses on researching, developing, manufacturing and selling pharmaceuticals and health oriented consumer products. Chi-med's retail brand, Sen, has a presence in the UK, France, and Hong Kong.

Hutchison Harbour Ring Limited (HHR) is principally engaged in property investments and has been listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong since 1991 (Stock Code: 715).

Hutchison Water Limited is engaged in a water desalination project in Israel which was granted a 26.5 years concession by the Israeli government to build and operate a water desalination plant in Sorek, Israel. The plant is expected to be one of the largest in the world in terms of capacity.
