Strategic Review of PNS

(Hong Kong, 16 August 2013) Subsequent to the announcement made on 20 July 2013, and in response to media inquiries, HWL reiterated today that its subsidiary A S Watson & Co Limited (“ASW”) is still conducting a strategic review of its supermarket retail business PARKnSHOP.

As of to date, ASW has not set a definite timetable for completion of its review, and the process may or may not result in a transaction being announced.
